Aaila — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Aaila. By creating an account or using the Aaila or Aaila Partner apps, you agree to these Terms. Please read them — section 5 explains the rules for content and our zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive users.

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and able to form a binding contract to use Aaila. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement. Aaila is intended for users in India.

2. Your account

You can sign in with your mobile number (OTP), Google, or Apple. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You may delete your account at any time from Profile/Settings → Delete account.

3. What Aaila is

Aaila is a live-shopping marketplace. Sellers list products and host live streams; buyers watch and purchase. Aaila provides the platform; the contract of sale for any product is between the buyer and the seller. Aaila is not the manufacturer or seller of seller-listed products.

4. Orders, payments & returns

Payments are processed securely via Razorpay. Prices are shown in INR.
Order status, shipping, cancellations and returns are handled per the seller's stated policy and the in-app order flow.
Sellers are responsible for fulfilling orders accurately and lawfully.

5. Content rules & community guidelines (UGC)

Aaila lets users broadcast live video and post chat messages and listings ("User Content"). You are solely responsible for your User Content. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree NOT to post or broadcast content that is:

illegal, fraudulent, or infringing on others' rights;
sexually explicit, nude, or pornographic;
hateful, harassing, threatening, or that bullies or defames any person or group;
violent, graphic, or that promotes self-harm or dangerous acts;
counterfeit, unsafe, prohibited, or misrepresented goods;
spam, scams, or misleading claims.

Reporting, blocking & enforcement. Every live stream, message, product and user can be reported from within the app, and you can block any user. We filter content, review reports, and act on objectionable content within 24 hours — removing it and, where appropriate, suspending or removing the responsible user. We may remove content or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice.

6. Seller terms

If you sell on Aaila, you confirm you have the right to sell your products, that listings are accurate, and that you will fulfil orders and comply with applicable laws (including consumer-protection, tax, and product-safety laws). You grant Aaila a licence to display your store, listings and streams in the app.

7. Intellectual property

Aaila and its logos are our property. You retain rights to your own User Content but grant Aaila a non-exclusive licence to host, display and distribute it within the service.

8. Privacy

Your data is handled per our Privacy Policy, which complies with India's DPDP Act, 2023.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aaila is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for disputes between buyers and sellers regarding products. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using Aaila and delete your account at any time.

11. Governing law & grievances

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of India. For any grievance, contact support@aaila.live.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use means acceptance.
