Aaila Live ("Aaila", "we", "us") operates a live-shopping marketplace connecting buyers and sellers in India through the Aaila and Aaila Partner mobile apps. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact our Grievance Officer (see §11).

We rely on your consent for processing, and you may withdraw it at any time (§5).
Aaila is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children. Under the DPDP Act, individuals under 18 are "children"; we do not permit accounts for minors and do not direct tracking, profiling or targeted advertising at children. If we learn we have a minor's data, we will delete it.
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. When you delete your account or withdraw consent, we erase your personal data within 7 days, except records we must retain for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. In the event of a personal-data breach, we will notify the Data Protection Board of India and affected users as required (within 72 hours where applicable).
Some service providers (e.g. Google Firebase) may process data on servers outside India in line with applicable law.
We use AI services to assist with product descriptions, image enhancement, and to moderate chat for objectionable content. Content you submit to these features is processed to provide the feature and for safety.
If you choose "Connect YouTube" in the Aaila Partner app, we ask Google for your permission to access your YouTube account so you can live-stream to it from Aaila. Connecting YouTube is entirely optional and happens only when you explicitly choose it. This uses the YouTube Data API. Aaila's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We use this access only for features you trigger in Aaila:
From YouTube we receive and store: your channel ID and name, whether your channel can live-stream, an OAuth refresh token that lets Aaila act for you on future streams, the livestream and broadcast identifiers needed to manage your live session, and — during a live stream — the chat messages on your broadcast together with each commenter's public YouTube name, channel ID and profile picture, stored with that stream's chat. The refresh token is encrypted at rest. We never see or store your Google password, and short-lived access tokens are used per request and not retained.
Aaila does not use this YouTube access to manage your existing YouTube video library, historical YouTube videos, ratings, captions, or unrelated YouTube account content. We do not read your videos, video comments, subscribers or watch history, and we do not use YouTube or Google data for advertising or for any purpose unrelated to running, moderating, securing, auditing, or supporting your live streams on Aaila.
You can disconnect YouTube at any time from the Aaila Partner app. Disconnecting revokes Aaila's access with Google and deletes your stored YouTube connection (channel details and refresh token) from our systems. You can also review or revoke Aaila's access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
